Free Wi-Fi Network For all Nigerian Universities
4G operator, Cyberspace Network Limited, is launching a corporate social responsibility (CSR) Initiative which will see to connecting Nigerian universities on free wi-fi network to boost their academic and research works.

The free WIFI facility, known as Surfwella will be launched and made available to Nigerian universities across the country today.
Municipal Wi-fi Chief Marketing Officer, Surfwella, Olusola Bankole, said the free Internet wifi will be launched first in the University of Abuja before going round to other universities.
Bankole explained that the firm is building and will soon unveil the Internet infrastructure they have been diligently working on for the use of the university communities.
He noted that the service will be on “no payment, no subscription, no data purchase, and no need formodems basis”.
He disclosed that the company is planning to build another free Internet infrastructure for Lagos State University (LASU) in the next few weeks, which will be followed by College of Agric, Lafiaji, and University of Lagos (Unilag).
Bankole disclosed that Surfwella is doing this as a way to give back to the society, adding,
“its our own form of corporate social responsibility (CSR). It is all about empowering the students to be globally competitive, and access to free Internet is the best way to empower the next generation.”
